Christine Cumerford
Principal Hand Therapist
Christine is an Occupational Therapist with further training and experience in Hand and Arm Rehabilitation and has gained a Post-Graduate Certificate of Science (Hand Therapy). Her love of treating hand injuries and conditions started as a student 17 years ago. Christine has since worked in public and private Hand Therapy Clinics in Regional Queensland and Brisbane. She loves working with people of all ages and has a special interest in traumatic hand injuries and post-op care. Christine has been an Associate of the Australian Hand Therapy Association since 2012.
Christine was very pleased to officially launch Cooloola Hand Therapy in March 2021 to serve her local community.
Clinic Reception
Cooloola Hand Therapy currently has a main clinic space within Cooloola Physiotherapy and Allied Health rooms in Gympie. The reception at this clinic book and manage appointments for our clients and are available to take your call M-F 8.30am-4.30pm. Reception staff: Trish, Clare, Sue, Sienna and Isla.
